Wordpress widget: latest diaspora posts (via xml import, etc) ??

Hi there,

Thanks for a cool platform.  We're considering deploying diaspora on our server, and want to be able to have a widget on our Wordpress site which imports the most recent diaspora posts.

Is this possible - via xml or otherwise?  How could it be accomplished?
