Sadly they somehow always seem to blame Democrats for bad they do and
take credit for
what the Democrats accomplish.
Politically they are totally worthless and damaging to America and
they also seem to get into monthly or bi-monthly sex scandals.
I think unless the Democrats do some serious messing up they will have

> Do you honestly think that with a democratic majority, Bush would still be

According to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid (the ones who would do the
impeaching), they are concerned that another impeachment would only serve to
further divide a nation already crippled by partisan and sectarian
divisiveness. What better way to energize al Quaeda (arabic for "The Base")
than to turn their most holy of holy men into a martyr?
Already, Christian militants are looting and burning down each other's
churches throughout the south.
Already, our courts' dockets are jam-packed with Republican leaders being
prosecuted for their roles in this administration.
Here in the US, our way of life and our system of justice demands that we
know the full extent of a person's crimes BEFORE we prosecute him for them.
For example - this week, in Baghdad, mass graves began turning up in
neighborhoods that were "pacified" by the Republican military.
The last thing Americans want is for Bush to be prosecuted for some minor
crime, only to find that it prevents him from being prosecuted for the
larger crimes.
That would give a free pass to too many of his co-conspirators.
America's post-Republican era will be much like Germany's post-Nazi era.
A *tremendous* amount of the world's resources will be focused on discovery
of the extent of the 4th Reich's crimes.
But this time, unlike last time, we will have to come up with a more Final
Solution for dealing with the terrorists.

Hillary for starters, then work your way down.
It takes a village to raise a collectivist.
They are for some reason ashamed of the socialist mindset. I'm not sure
why, but it's like the "liberal" label - now they're calling themselves
"progressives".
For some reason, the motivations are constant, but they have to keep
changing the label. One gets the feeling they are weasels.
Another common error is calling rain "water", when it is "rain".

You have implied that the problem with socialism is its control of the

Take Cuba for example. They have a dictator and a socialist economy and
Castro says all is just great.
Norway is socialist and you pay like 50% tax and a bus will haul you all
over town so you don't need a car which is good because you couldn't
afford one.
For the lazy mediocre socialism is just great.
Capitalist minded people immigrate to America to work the Capitalist
opportunity which is unavailable in some parts of the world. Socialism
has been good for America and lets keep it that way and those wanting
socialism should move to a socialist country.

It is the preferred system of the undereducated, ignorant and poor,

60 years back, that was a possibility.
>We and the English still would have bombed every city in Germany,
Why do you believe that we/they would have been able to do so, given
that a different set of circumstances wrt oil would have allowed both
the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe to operate much more freely, ntm the
potential for the Krauts to both manufacture and use the jet aircraft
they got into production too little and too late to deal with.
There's a genuine question whether or not England would have survived
at all, had the Krauts had sufficient fuel to do as they wished. Had
the Soviets been knocked entirely out of the war, the best that they
could have done was some small-scale strikes from beyond the Urals.
Our bombing -- and it would have been mostly Ours -- would have come
only Much later than it did, and would have required the Convair B-36
to become operational, which it was not about to be until 1946 at the
earliest.
Things would have been Much different.
We were damned lucky the Soviets were prepared to lose most of their
available personnel just to keep the Krauts from overrunning eastern
Europe entirely.
>... and we still would have destroyed their factories.
Not if they'd taken England out of the war, which had a lot to do with
available fuel.
The Caucuses Oil Fields were The big prize in Russia. Had Adolf
chosen to drive straight for those, rather than wasting time and
energy on places like Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad, it'd have been
an entirely different scenario.
>Eventually, insurgencies in

But it works long enough, clearly, that the outcome of WW2 could well
have been Far different than it was.
About the Only thing that would have changed things would have been
The Bomb, which was developed to be used against Germany and to be
delivered by the B-36, if England had fallen.
(And fwiw, England would have had a Gubmint In Exile operating out of
Canada, had that happened.)

I have no idea - and neither do you. Thanks to your butt-boy Bush's hatred
for the Constitution, the government now has the power to tap your phone
without any probable cause or checks and balances whatsoever.

> Oh yeah, that Great Society/welfare initiative worked out well, eh?
It did, actually. Pulled us out of the Great Depression and provided a
safety net for the elderly and disabled.
You right-wingers hate that kind of thing, I know.
>> What Democrats are "socialists"?
>>

> Clinton and Obama , as delineated in my earlier response.
In what way are they "socialists"? You haven't "deliniated" jack shit, you
brain-dead right-wing Constitution-hating unAmerican moron.
> They are for some reason ashamed of the socialist mindset.
Clearly you brain-dead unAmerican right-wing douchebags don't own a
dictionary.
>> What Democrats do you believe are interested in "destroying" the US
>> Constitution, and how?
>>
>> Explain.
> 1. Hillary "Billary-Bot" Clinton. She wants to put everyone on welfare,
> make socialized medicine the standard to hold people in check...for
> starters.
No she doesn't. Why do you tell so many lies? You sure do that a lot.
> 2. Barrack Obama. Wants to make the military turn tail and run like a
> scared puppy.
The vast majority of Americans want the US out of Iraq. YOU are the
extremist radical minority. What does your comment have to do with your
claim that Obama wants to "destroy the U.S. Constitution"?
Damn, you're a stupid motherfucker. Why do you hate America so much you
terrorist-loving cocksucker?
> Wants to open the borders and give all the jobs in the U.S. to illegal
> immigrants.
No he doesn't. You sure do lie a lot.
>Wants to revoke the 2nd amendment.
No he doesn't. You sure do lie a lot.
Why do you lie so much? Didn't your parents teach you proper values?
Why do you hate America?
Because, as I said, oppression never works forever. All such empires
have fallen, and this one in particular, could not have maintained the
violent oppression of so many tens of millions of people, especially
with the US fighting it. And again, we can't even keep the oil flowing
in Iraq. Why do you think Germany would have been able to do it over a
much bigger area filled with insurgents? Even lowlt Norway was fighting
back through an insurgency. And it was effective.
> There's a genuine question whether or not England would have survived
> at all, had the Krauts had sufficient fuel to do as they wished.
What do you mean "survived at all?" The Germans didn't have nuclear
weapons. They would have had to occupy all of the UK. How much area do
you think Germany could have occupied, given that the US can't even
occupy Iraq?
This idea of world domination is way overblown.

Some of us even know the difference between Franklin Roosevelt and
Lyndon Johnson.

"Asked, "Does the Constitution include the following statement about the
proper role of government: 'From each according to this ability, to each
according to his needs'?" 35 percent of Americans said yes, 31 percent
said no, and 34 percent said they weren't sure."
How's that government school thing working out?
29
It was to be concerning long-ago history as it relates to today, but
I've changed it to be laughing at your quaint interpretation of history.
Government school?
> Because, as I said, oppression never works forever.
How's that Cuban freedom thing coming along?
What type of socialism are you refering to? Democratic? Libertarian?
Marxist-Leninist? Religious? Do you make a distinction between social and
economic socialism?
Probably not. You are way too simplistic to form any type of informed
opinion.
>
> It is the preferred system of the undereducated, ignorant and poor,
Despite the fact that several socialist countries and countries with more
socialist systems are our equal or better in education and income.
> which is a huge democrat party demographic.
It's funny when conservatives say that liberals are educated and cultured
elitists from one side of their mouths, and then say that they are
uneducated trailer trash from the other.
29
I think it works fine the way it is, with each side ebbing and flowing
according to the economy's needs.
Out of curiosity, do you think that workers buying out their factory and
sharing the profits is socialist or free market?
It would have been over long ago, if the US hadn't supported the
dictatorship with policies that aroused never-ending nationalist
support. Furthermore, it isn't all that oppressive. Their medical system
is better than the US, and their education system is better than the US.
Their economy sucks because of US oppression, yes?
There was no dodge -- you pretended I'd said something I never said.
Warrantless domestic wiretaps, elimination of habeas corpus, signing
statements, defiance of Congressional oversight, the belief in unlimited
Executive power...
If you really believe that Bush has any respect for the Constitution, you're
just fucking blind.
