Nung's Kitchen get-together?

So Vince (VTB on Chowhound) suggested a group/bundled buy from this
Thai woman in Troy, which greatly intrigued me. I'm absolutely sure
that my girlfriend Donna would want to participate in this as well,
since she *loves* all things starch, but especially really good rice,
and she's also very amenable to Asian spice (as opposed to Mexican
spice, which she really doesn't handle very well).

Paul (Goatgolfer on Chowhound) has offered to open up his home for a
get-together type jaunt, and I know that his house has the room and
the kitchen to be able to handle this kind of thing. Heck, I'll bet
Nung would be right at home in his kitchen. I'm definitely up for a
get-together of this type, as I do enjoy lots of different types of
Thai, both spicy and not, entree and not, and having this woman able
to optimize our dining experience to our ideas (whilst giving us some
ideas of her own, I'm sure) sure sounds like a lot of fun to me!

Anybody else wanting to do this? I'd bring it up on CH, but I'm
afraid the topic might be deleted for some odd reason.

What's the consensus?

Forgive me if I missed it, but who is Christy Richmond on the
Chowhound board (just trying to determine if she is one of the regular
posters who think I'm a total jerk)?

I'm thinking we'll have to have two separate serving tables---one for
medium spicy and one for HOT!

I heard goatgolfer has a semi-professional wok burner. Can't wait to
check it out. I hope Nung agrees to cook at Paul's (goatgolfer's)
place so we can watch her and her assistant in action. I think they
will agree for sure. They love to talk about Thailand.

name (on board). All are welcome! Sorry that I phrased my note in a
potentially ambiguos way that could give the impression of

I think 14 might cut it (barely). Based on people's busy January, and
a few blackouts in Feb., I'm preliminarily proposing Sat18-Feb. What
do you think? I'll get more in to the dish voting shortly. I hope
you all still are "game." We'll have a lot of fun. I might even buy
a ticket for JanPrimus, if his wife will let him come (which she
shouldn't, since he's a bad, bad boy). Once we set a date and sketch
out a menu, we may also have a couple other people sign on. Jim M
loves Asian food, so I'm not giving him a pass, even though I'm
granting a pass to momskitchen who probably lives near Jim M.
Berkleybabe/gary ultimately probably can't resist, even though they
seemingly aren't planning to attend. And, don't tell me Jack Freeman
and wife aren't adventurous enough to come. I'm not buying it. Cheers
