You uploaded the image 3 times, with the first two receiving multiple user comments telling you not to. One would have thought that after those comments and the subsequent deletions you'd have gotten the picture and at the least checked with moderation before uploading a third time, at which point you clearly knew it was going to be removed again. A 24h ban (the horror) is a much clearer message than any PM you'd read and argue about.
