To all Derby Makers

Please see attached the minutes from the 2017 Derby Makers AGM, held on Thursday at the Radio Museum in Derby. The meeting was very positive, and we have a plan to move forward as a group while being based at the Radio Museum.

Also attached is a proposal for buying our own Laser Cutter, put together by Morgan and presented by him as AoB during the meeting. This was agreed in principle by all attendees, and we intend to see that happening in the first few months of 2018.

If you have any comments or questions please let me know - I was formally elected DM Secretary by the attendees of the AGM, so from now on I'm the right contact for all queries relating to DM membership and meetings.

As mentioned in the minutes, there is space on the DM Steering Committee if you want to get more involved - please let me know? Next SC meeting is on Thursday January 24th at the Radio Museum. We plan to run these meetings regularly but to keep them short and effective, so we can get on with making!
