Hi all

I've had an enquiry from someone called Janet, email clip below:

I am part of Derby City Libraries Children’s team and we are looking to see if there are ways that we can introduce a technology element to some of our groups. This is at a very early stage but one area we have looked at is the Raspberry Pi. What we envisage is a provider from outside libraries bringing a number of Pis to a group and helping the children to use them in some way.

Janet is going to try and make it down to the Silk Mill this Thursday, but if you're interested, would like more details or can recommend someone/organisation that maybe able to help just let me know and I'll pass on your details - or have a word with Janet on Thursday - I'm assuming they'll be happy to contract someone to undertake the work/project?.

I'll also be posting on the Nottinghack group.

Thanks
Amanda

Happy to talk, but I can't be there till about 7.30 (curse of Thursdays and too many clashing events)

I would willingly fight through the pain of my recent injury to help,, but the raspberry Pi, like a sense of Style, is something that has completely passed me by.
Sorry.

I won’t be around on Thursday (at an event in London about surveillance), so don’t wait for me! (I only say this because of having done some Rπ talks in the past.)

Hi Amanda,

Sounds interesting and would like to get involved. My Pi knowledge may be basic but I've been involved in creating technology workshops before.

See you Thursday.
