Introducing myself and Derbyshire Laser (or, I own 3 laser cutters)

Hi All

My names is Peter Crummey and along with my wife we run Derbyshire Laser ( www.derbyshirelaser.co.uk ) - we make our own products at www.lasaris.com
We have 3 laser cutters setup in a variety of ways ( 1 x 100w 6090, 1 x 60w 6090, 1 x 60w 5070).
The 60w 5070 is setup to engrave and incredibly high detail via a specialist lens, the 90w 6090 is setup to cut (upto 12mm materials), and the 60w 6090 is a middle of road do all.
All are CO2 so we unfortunately cannot cut metal.

All have chillers, air assist, industry level ventilation, etc, so we can run long jobs that you may not be able to get at via the Silk mill or elsewhere.
We are registered on Makeworks and should be on the site in the next few weeks as they've just been in to film.

I'd be interested in offering both our knowledge, access to the machines, and any other useful stuff we have, that could help you guys out.
I'd also like to come along and meet you all and see what cool stuff you're making too, obviously, haha. :-)

Thanks for your info. We have just bought a 60w 5070. We have your details if we need help with a production run, etc.

We look forward to seeing you and your wife, when you get chance to come down, any Thursday evening (although we are closed for the whole of May). And we can swap some laser engraving tricks, tips and anecdotes.
