xml matrix with polymorphic states

It seems that when reading in an XML matrix file, any cells that contain a polymorphic state (i.e., both 0&1 in a single cell) are improperly read and DendroPy does not know what to do with these cells, so the data gets omitted from the final output. Is this a bug with the package, or is there a specific code to fix this issue? I have attached a small example file containing polymorphic cells.
