Adding mean with 95% CI to boxplots

I want to add means and 95% confidence intervals to boxplots. I cannot figure out how to do it with the plot builder so am doing a hack from the Rcmdr.plugin KMggplot after I have created my boxplot with the plot builder.

One way of achieving this would be to add a grouped mean plot to the existing grouped box plot to overlay the two plots. Options, axes, etc can then be adjusted as required.
