Hello!

I can't use Deducer on a Mac because when I use the "library(JGR)" command I get an error message saying that I need to install the "legacy Java SE 6 runtime". Is there any way around this? I don't want to install Java 6 since it may screw other software I have installed.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Gerardo

You do need to have Java installed and you can either use the old Java 6 shipped by Apple, or the latest from Oracle. Do you have Java installed? If so, what version?

If you have Java installed and it is not being recognized by R, you can try installing rJava from source

install.packages(“rJava”,type=“source”)

Best,
Ian
