Hi all,

Is there a way to toggle between multiple plots in plot builder?

If a data set that plots an X value against a Y value as a scatter plot
that has an ID value so that the colors are auto selected by that ID
value and produces a nice overlap of scatter plots is there a way to
easily create a display that allows only displaying say 1 or 2 of the
multiple ID value data sets?

I can easily just Subset the data to parse it into unique data sets by
ID values but that takes time.
Is there a faster means read more efficient use of time than that to
display the individual plots from a grouped data set?

The goal is to create something like a "blink" format to compare two or
more plots?
Apparently for astronomy comparing sky images of static stars or
celestial bodies with one that may be moving is used.
By flashing back and forth between the static images the one that
contains the same points the one that is moving becomes obvious as the
moving one shifts in position.

I am interested in seeing how to compare plots of data sets of X vs Y
plots of multiple data sets to see what shifts there are between them
that may otherwise be subtle by "blinking" of flashing the displays from
one image to another.

Hi Bruce
If I understand you correctly you want to restrict many categories present within a group to depict only a selection of two.

Depending on the nature of the variable you could try colour brewer, included levels or x discrete axis, included levels.

There is a different tool for a continuous or discrete variable, and those templates are only selectable in Deducer (Scales or Other) after the group has ben added to the plot, not visible by default.
