Vizualizing complex processes

I have the need to vizualize a complex process. Came across this a while ago: https://webeventstorming.com/

 

I like the simple text format, but it’s very limited in what I can describe (one command leading to multiple events, events triggering commands in process managers etc).

 

Are there any alternatives, besides using some kind of flowchart tool? (most of what the ones I’ve tried are very inflexible when it comes to rearrange stuff in a fluent way, I dont want to focus on the layout and connections, but on the process I’m describing).
