JOB DESCRIPTION - Digital Media and Website Manager
As a key member of the Women Advancing Nutrition, Dietetics and Agriculture (WANDA) team, the Digital Media and Website Manager is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the WANDA web and social media platforms. The position is responsible for contributing to/developing a digital media marketing plan in alignment with the WANDA brand and engagement strategy.
Responsibilities:
Website Site:
Support website updates, including design and coordination.
Improve usability, design, and content of the company website.
Create and/or edit compelling and engaging content to educate prospective donors, stakeholders, volunteers and team members.
Create landing and splash pages to assist in direct marketing efforts;
Update and help maintain website content; Ensure the quality of site design and content.
Utilize and update website and social media platforms to drive content that is current and relevant to WANDA stakeholders, donors, volunteers and supporters.
Experience:
3+ years of digital media experience.
At least 3 years of front end web development experience.
Experience with dynamic websites and content management applications helpful
Branding & Identity understanding
Skills:
Attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills are critical
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and project management skills
Strong knowledge of skills key to the position including graphic design, usability, multimedia presentation development, etc.
Requires advanced knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, W3C Web Standards helpful
Proficiency with Word Press a must
A strong understanding of all social media platforms
Solid understanding of information architecture; ability to seek out resources to support website development and content

JOB DESCRIPTION - Special Events Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Director of Programming, the Events Coordinator plans, implements, monitors and evaluates events on behalf of the Women Advancing Nutrition, Dietetics and Agriculture (WANDA) Leadership Team. S/he designs and implements logistical support for events, including WANDA Speaker Series, Summer Social and Bootcamp events leveraging his/her professional network, to ensure an excellent result, robust participation and a smooth execution. S/he will also work on other WANDA events and initiatives, as needed.
DUTIES:
Assist with event logistics and work closely with WANDA Leadership
Have a key role in providing research for outreach and record keeping for event sponsor, stakeholder and volunteer engagement
Provide integral support to event sponsors to coordinate collateral fulfillment
Assist with research and outreach for in-kind donations
Be involved with creative brainstorming on how best to utilize and capitalize on social media platforms
Provide administrative support and perform other job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous event planning and fundraising experience a plus, not a must
Superior organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to take initiative
Excellent public relations and customer service skills in dealing with internal and external constituents
Must enjoy working as a member of a team with an attitude of "pitch-in", and "no-job-is-too-small", on multiple projects and handle pressure with grace
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong internet skills required

JOB DESCRIPTION: Human Resources Assistant
Women Advancing Nutrition, Dietetics and Agriculture (WANDA) is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting with a full range of human resources, or HR, functions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a willingness to learn. The HR Assistant will provide a full range of day-to-day HR support in areas including recruiting and project management. The HR Assistant will also assist the Human Resource Director with various administrative duties, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Recruit and coordinate the volunteers needed in the community. Help screen prospective candidates; interview applicants; and perform verbal and written reference checks
Assist in organizational training and development efforts
Promote the volunteer program via flyers, newsletter, and website in order to encourage interest and participation from the community
Assist with developing budget for overall volunteer program
Other HR administrative projects as assigned
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program of study required
Major or specialization in Human Resources, Business or related field
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Communications Assistant: Multimedia & photography
The Communications assistant will support integrated marketing communication reporting to the Communications Director. This member of the Women Advancing Nutrition, Dietetics and Agriculture (WANDA) team will play a key role in implementing a multimedia communications strategy to support our educational and advocacy initiatives to increase the reach, engagement and results and to ensure the proper message is delivered to the community.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Video production assistance and support
Drafting, developing, and maintaining written post production support materials including but not limited to: storyboards, scripts, concept drafts, production logistics
On camera talent work and/or the assistance with the direction of on camera talent
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program of study required
Major or specialization in TV/digital film, film, video journalism, or multimedia production; or relevant experience preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in broadcasting, digital print, videography, photography, television, film production, and/or radio broadcasting preferred.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Creative and “out of the box” thinking and planning
Ability to accomplish tasks independently and also willingness to work as a team
Strong written and oral communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HTML and Desktop Publisher
