DC801/theTransistor DEF CON party planning: Doorpeople

On my way out of the space tonight I saw a tweet go out to both dual core and our account from some random DJ from Detroit. That in and of itself is not special but it was the content that was. He basically begged for a badge. While it is humbling to see randoms I dont know asking for a badge into our party, it makes me remember that so far, Queercon and DC801/theTransistor are the only 2 parties saturday night. 

Queercon is a fairly targeted audience (and offsite this year) so that means we are going to start fielding more and more demand for entry into our party. With only (lulz) 1600sq/ft I calculated we can comfortably fit about 400 people. That means we will have to regulate people in and out and this requires people to do. How many people are willing to step up and man the door? The more people we have volunteer for this, the more time everyone else has to party it up. Also keep in mind that this will only start go go into effect once we start filling up.

So whos up for it?
