Hi all,

DC gov is part of a regional initiative with MD-VA to measure air quality called Cleaned Air Partners. See DDOT description: http://ddot.dc.gov/node/469692

Cleaned Air Partners provide daily updated data: http://www.cleanairpartners.net/realtime.cfm

The data is however only available on the site itself - no bulk download or API. Anyone knows if there are plans to make this data available via an API?

Would be great to see this included here: https://openaq.org/

Best,
Anders

Here’s the DC Government page on air quality monitoring: http://doee.dc.gov/service/ambient-air-quality-monitoring

Note that in addition to going to MWCOG/Clean Air Partners, it’s also submitted to the EPA, which means it should be available from the EPA’s API here: https://aqs.epa.gov/api

Looks like OpenAQ is already aggregating EPA data from the raw real-time files available via FTP from AirNow: https://github.com/openaq/openaq-fetch/pull/108

This page disambiguates the various ways to get air quality data from the EPA: https://www3.epa.gov/air/airpolldata.html
