Hi all,

Tomorrow at 10am, Ryan Peek will give a talk on creating dynamic, interactive documents in R using Shiny and RMarkdown. That will run roughly 10-11 and then we’ll have the usual work session 11-12. Wickson 2120J, or online here, where you should be able to submit questions. Here’s an abstract of the talk from Ryan:

Interested in making interactive and dynamic reports, slide shows, or applications to share and explore your data? Heard of “shiny” and “markdown”? Please come for an overview of myriad options available to create professional presentations, alternate ways to explore your data, and hopefully some tools you can use to help communicate your research more effectively. I hope to cover some basics as well as provide more detailed examples using shiny and markdown.

See you tomorrow,

Michael
