RegardsThat would only work if you put the platter in a Shitgate 2.5 then put that 2.5 in a gutted Western Digital 3.5 drive and imaged it backwards with MHDD in DOS. They call it "Seatoshital". Should also increase the speed of imaging by about 15%.Ha! Sorry, I had to, just for fun. You are absolutely right, turning it over would reverse the direction of the tracks and it just simply wouldn't work.
