Civc Tech Survey for Civic Tech India Accelerator 2018

Omidyar Network has partnered with venture capital firm, Village Capital, to run the first-of-its kind Civic Tech India 2018 Accelerator program. This six-month accelerator will equip early-stage civic engagement ventures in India with access to mentors, connection to funders and an ecosystem of support to entrepreneurs to develop solutions to tackle the country’s toughest problems across its civic and social sectors.

 

In addition to encouraging entrepreneurs to confidently step into the civic tech playing field, the purpose of the program is to guide them into identifying the civic and social spaces that urgently warrant technological intervention. And they would require your inputs in identifying the areas in which you believe, the intervention of technology, could assist in driving greater public engagement in the overall decision-making process that affects the community.

 

Hence, they have commissioned a survey aimed at deriving insights from fellow Indian residents about the everyday problems they that they face within their community, town or city; and their views about how the intervention of technological solutions may assist in mitigating these issues.
