Hi all,

Can anybody tell if the numbers of pmpml are correct or little outdated ?

http://www.pmpml.org/AboutUs.aspx

About 1/3 of the page -

"A fleet of 1000 Buses transporting nearly 807511 passengers daily,
staff of about 8610 Bus Depots 10 and 20 main Bus stations and about
282 routes."

As those figures are not dated, it's doesn't seem right. Throughout
the page, the talk is of 2007-08 so it's possible that the figures
might be till those years. Could somebody find out ?

Another query, has anybody done any interesting analyses with
passports and visas ? For instance, in visas, probably the most
applications might be for the U.S. but would be interesting to know
who are/were in the second and third place. Might be some surprises in
store for people. With people flying both domestically and
internationally at all-time highs it could give interesting trends,
even which airports are people flying more from could have insights
for people, not just for airlines themselves.

What do people think ? And if there is such analysis somewhere a link
would be cool.

P.S. - The same would have been true of railways as well but that data
is humongous and don't think Railways will share that info. in the
public domain even after taking all personal identifier details.
(anonymity). Would love if there is some analysis of Pune circle
per-se.
