After logging into Datafari's admin console and going to the ManifoldCF admin console, I created a new repository connection to the local file system (as per the tutorial video).

When clicking on the New Job button, I get the following error in the browser and can't proceed:

Database exception: SQLException doing query (42P01): ERREUR: la relation « transformationconnections » n'existe pas Position: 63

The tomcat logs contains the following stack trace:

Hi Vance,

Sorry about these issues. They all relate to windows server, and we haven’t tested the executables for this environment. After a quick look, we can solve them rather quickly, but for now we are working on other feature improvements. This is for now due to the fact that all our current customers are using linux rather than windows, hence the low priority of these issues. We do provide executables for Windows 7 and 8, but this is currently recommended for test purposes rather than for productive use.

Note that if enough people are interested in the windows server version, we’ll elevate the priority of this issue and we’ll quickly solve it with pleasure J

Regards,

Aurélien

Hi Vance,

just to let you know that Aurélien closed the issue related to that problem, and that things should be working smoothly on Windows now. Note that the patch has been integrated directly in version 1.0 (yes, it was not clean, we should have done a version 1.01, we'll do that for next patches, but at least now it works :)  ).

You may want to give it a try (go to www.datafari.com/en to download it) and let us know if everything's going smoothly.

Regards,

Cedric
