geoLocation-aware search tools?

Hi,

I've been playing with the fine DataCite Metadata Search service documented at <http://search.datacite.org/help.html>
It appears to be unaware of the GeoLocation property added in Version 3.0.
Are there plans to make that tool location aware, or are there similar tools out there?

For instance, I'd love to be able to do something like this:
http://search.datacite.org/api?q=GeoLocationPlace:Namibia&wt=csv
 ... and recieve records which have Namibia only in the GeoLocation part(s).

Today I can only do this
http://search.datacite.org/api?q=Namibia&wt=csv
 ... which finds things with my search term in title etc.
