We are looking to recruit a full-time researcher to help with a new 2-year grant project to visualize geospatial and temporal network data. We will consider applications with and without PhDs.

The project has two major streams. The first stream will seek to extract human mobility information from social media and commercial data (e.g., WiFi hot spot data). The second stream will seek to visualize this mobility data and other geographic flow data in intuitive, easy-to-use interactive HTML5 visualizations. The visualization stream will employ online experiments to compare various visualization alternatives.

The Oxford Internet Institute is a fast-growing, multidisciplinary department of the University of Oxford. Please read the full details at the link below and consider applying:

Feel free to send questions to me (scott...@oii.ox.ac.uk) or our personnel officer (rec...@oii.ox.ac.uk)

Thanks!
Scott
