We looking for a creative data conversant designer or visualizer to join our Research and Economics team! The role of this Research and Economics Analyst in the Research and Economics (R&E) team is to present housing market insights, economic research findings, and other data stories to members and the general public, in a way that is engaging, explanatory, simple to understand, and accurately portrayed.

While the posting says data analyst we really want someone who can communicate, design interactives, and visualize stories. We are mostly tools agnostic – results go into the web, social media, print magazine, speeches, and other ends for our members.

We use some PowerBI and Tableau for dashboards, R, Stata, and excel for data analyses, and excel and ggplot2 for visualizations and outputs, and other GIS and web-mapping as they arise. But we are very open to whatever tools or skills that you want to bring to the table. The posting is a bit, “data analyst” but don’t be put off if you are more on the artistic / design / visuals side.

Position is full-time in Los Angeles (Koreatown area)
