Data Visualisation/Infographic Designer - Data Team

The Economist's Data Team is offering a paid internship for (period and salary TBD) based in their central London office.

The successful applicant will be working on a range of data-visualisation, cartographic and information graphic design projects, serving both print and digital editions of the newspaper.

The potential candidate must have experience of some or all of the following skills:

• Information graphics, graphic design, cartography, data visualisation, interactive graphics and web-editing tools
or languages.

• Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS and D3.js would be advantageous.

• An interest in global politics and current affairs would also be beneficial.
