Hi there. We have to design a D3JS based chart that should look like a knowledge tree, with its branches, roots, fruits and leafs. We expect you to present your basic proposal of template design at the beginning of this project in order to understand your full capability to reinforce this project. We are not expecting a final design based in real life pictures, but a more conceptual one like ‘blog tree’ or any of the other included into Manuel Lima’s latest book.

A beautiful tree should be animated, starting to grow once the user lands in the corresponding web page to extent itself according to four different data sets and several complementary rules, which in other hand are the usuals when designing this type of visualisation: thickness of the branches, overall length of the tree, number of leafs per branch, etc.

Users will be able to modify the parameters of the data visualisation and the tree should adapt to it on-line, immediately, to this new information.

For this project its critical to demonstrate experience building D3 templates and ideally related experience, so please include links and references in your proposal. We are interested to start with a contract project but we have a significant amount of work to perform after this first assignment and therefore keen to move on to any other kind of relationship preferred by you -including permanent hirings, outsourcing, managed capability model, etc.

If interested or wanted to recommend another colleague, please email me to nacho...@thebankingpractice.com

Many thanks for your attention in advance.
Kind Regards,
N.
