Key Responsibilities: Visualise data and create compelling infographics Confidently produce print, digital, and other creative work whilst keeping to corporate brand guidelines Work directly with management to help them articulate their messages, then translate these into relevant and compelling creative solutions Manage the entire creative process, from concept stage, refinements and controlling brand usage, right through to final implementation Support the team and director on other projects as and when necessary

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of editorial design, typography for print and digital
• Keen interest or understanding of data visualisation
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Muse, AfterEffects, Preimere Pro, Dreamweaver
• Highly organised and passionate about data, design and digital
• Strong eye for detail and ability to contribute creative ideas
• Able to work under tight deadlines and to prioritise design focus accordingly
• Skill in working with brand guidelines and ensuring consistency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Willing to learn and develop skills base
• Good research and internet skills
• Must be a competent user of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired but not essential:

• Interest in global news and events, specifically in the Middle East
• Jquery/Javascript/HTML5 skills advantageous
• Photography/Videography skills an advantage
• Experience of content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal)
• Active on and knowledgeable of social media

Terms:

• The job is full time, based on a one-year contract with a 3 month probation period
• The position is available immediately, and preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available
• Salary based on experience
