Job: Deputy Data Directors - Colorado Democratic Party (FT 'til Nov)

The Colorado Democratic Party is hiring Deputy Data Directors for the 2016 Coordinated Campaign. Deputy Data Directors will work with the Data Director to create reports, establish metrics, and use data to identify trends and forecast outcomes. They will also use data visualization and writing skills to communicate with non-technical audiences, and train staff and volunteers on using data tools to work more efficiently and effectively. 

A good candidate for this position likes to answer questions with data, rarely closes Excel, loves a good puzzle, and wants to be a member of a team that works hard every day on something that really matters - electing Democrats up and down the ticket in Colorado.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong analytical mindset
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively on teams
• Ability to keep a cool head under pressure
• Strong attention to detail

Additional Skills and Qualifications: (an ideal applicant will posses one of these skills, all applicants should expect to develop these skills over the course of the cycle)

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries
• Field organizing experience
• Experience with VAN
• Experience using mapping tools like QGIS or Google Fusion Tables
• Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau
