Hi! We are developing an open source framework called Vizabi, which includes the following Bubble Chart and Income Mountain. It's written in JavaScript, SCSS, HTML and uses a lot of D3.js.

We need help to continue the development of the charts, maintain them, fix the bugs, and include new features. Most issues might not be fun or exciting to solve, like this one, but that's just how the life is. Some are quite fun, like this one, and some are challenging, like this one.

We need programmers who will be very much involved in what we are doing, be the part of our team and at the same time be self-sufficient enough in solving the issues.

By helping us you not only contribute to the open source code base, but you also contribute to our vision: make the facts about the world available and understandable for everyone. That's an honorable task in itself. We need people who want to be part of this big vision :)

If you want to help us, please read further info in collaboration manual before you apply!
It's 4 more pages long than you've just read and it has most of the questions answered.

Then send info about yourself and your previous projects to both an...@gapminder.org and art...@gapminder.org

Tell us why you are interested, what are your skills, how much time can you devote to the job.

By sending us an email you indicate that you agree with the following two slightly contradictory statements: 1) you believe you are skilled enough to help, 2) you don't mind solving boring bugs.

Thanks!

Angie and Arthur
