Interactive infographic with new linked data – short-term job (month of September)
We've got exciting new data to describe the activities of people and companies subsequent to funding on federal research grants.
We need a talented front-end person who could interpret this data for a short-term "interactive infographic" project. This includes chart/figures as well as dynamic text. There will be a single template to display datasets from 9 different organizations (universities).
We have the first draft of the specs but we need you to approach this as an agile project. We expect to work iteratively as we figure out the ideal design for the charts, tables and text. You must be flexible and have a great eye for design. The development itself is not particularly complicated - bar charts, maps, line charts, etc.
Timeline is tight. We'd like to get started on the first iteration next week and finalize everything by October 1.
Remote work is okay, but NYC and DC are preferred work locations.
