I am working with the VP of Data at a Fortune 100 insurance company who is hiring for a Data Visualization Engineer in NYC! This is a full time position. They have created a brand new data department, so you could be one of the key members of this new team!
This company’s technology platform houses heavy amounts of complex insurance data from millions of Americans. In this role, you will design database schemas, aggregate data, and handle visualization libraries. This role is so crucial to their company because the visualization you will produce will be responsible for communicating the underlying data directly to executives. Your findings will directly impact the future of the company by providing insight which will drive future business decisions!
Their tech stack is based in a Python environment, and experience with JavaScript is highly necessary. In depth knowledge of D3, R, SQL, or other data visualization tools are a bonus for this role! This position is located in their Manhattan (Flatiron) office.
