Hi,

I'm looking for data visualization specialists to join my team on Kensho (http://www.kensho.com).

Kensho is a Boston startup located on Harvard Square. We are working on user-friendly analytics and data-visualization tools, which are capable of quickly answering the kinds of questions that previously could only be answered effectively by super-secret hedge funds. Questions like "what happens to markets when a category 3 hurricane makes landfall in the U.S.?"

We have a fun and brilliant team of about 25 people who jumped ship from places like Google, Kayak, edX, and the MIT media lab to work with Kensho.

On the dataVis side we're developing a platform to generate and run the interactive graphs across Kensho apps and analysis. Abstracting patterns of use, defining paradigms of interaction, setting colors and graphic design, and modularizing the components and processes that form the visualizations.

From a technical perspective, we're embracing the cool new technologies and patterns, we use a mix of React and D3, flux like stores with Observables and reactive components, functional programming, hot module reload and webpack. It's a delight to design, code and iterate the product.

I'm looking for somebody which works well both from a design approach to the problems and from a technical implementation side, which like to solve problems and is self-driving.

If you think you're a good fit, send me your resume and portfolio to luis...@kensho.com
