My client is mapping genome sequences alongside other clinical trial and patient data to uncover the mysteries behind many things including cancer research and ALS. They’re looking for a JavaScript Engineer (not a web dev) who can own data visualization on the UI with D3, three.js, and also custom Data Visualization. Ideally, this person would have Angular.js and some back-end ability. The back end is written in Python. They’re in downtown NYC, offer a matching 401k in addition to 30+ PTO days and unlimited sick days. The budget is $120-160k. Not to mention that you’d actually change people’s lives and be part of something really big.
