Data Visualisation Production Lead & Senior Data Journalist

We've got a couple of great full-time jobs going at the UK Office for National Statistics. The first is a data visualisation production lead - it's a 2-year fixed contract, although I'd personally (my view) hope we can extend this as the work programme grows. We're looking for practical data visualisation experience with languages such as D3js, R, or LeafletJS. Experience of leading delivery of projects is crucial. The person would be the support lead for Data Visualisation for the 2021 Census, although the variety of work would be wider than this, for example some support of the teams responsibility to make statistics engaging & useful for the general public. The other job is for a Senior Data Journalist. As well as more journalistic skills it would be advantageous if any applicant had experience of using tools such as d3js, R, Tableau or similar languages and software as part of their work.
