App performance metrics tool @Facebook

UX + Datavis designer needed to overhaul / redesign an important internal tool that assists engineers in tracking and diagnosing problems in Facebook mobile application performance.

The current UI is a combination of query filters and multiple d3.js + React.js charts which are cross-linked.

We need someone who can come in and interview the ~10 power users to deeply understand their workflows.  Then create new UX (overall experience) and visual design (individual components and data visualizations).  Visual design will be aided by existing Facebook design guidelines and resources.

Requirements:

- Basic user research ability

- Excellent UX skills in the domain of enterprise tools

- Familiarity with data analysis / statistical analysis

- Data visualization design principles

- Delivery of final UI specifications

- Bonus: Familiarity with developer workflow and performance testing

Contract duration: Approx. 3 months

Remote: on-site position, no remote work.

You would be paid as a W-2 employee of Pro Unlimited (a vendor that manages contract employment for Facebook)
