Seeking brilliant user experience engineers and interaction designers for
consulting and/or full-time roles in Diffeo -- focused on our knowledge graph
visualizations and in-context depictions of "uncovering the unknown."
Diffeo is a machine intelligence tool that automatically analyzes what you are
writing in tools like Word, Outlook, Gmail, etc, and scours the Web and private
data to recommend information you are missing.
We're using d3, Simile, and plenty of in-house data vis to help users see three
steps beyond their current understanding of the knowledge graph. See the

Diffeo applies text analytics on *both* the user's document and source data to
perform an automatic gap analysis. For example, when taking notes about a new
idea or topic, Diffeo understands what you already know and uncovers novel
information before you even realize you should search for it.
As the AI in your personal Deep Web, Diffeo is changing what one expects from
machine learning and human language technologies. Diffeo-type systems will
change how business users view search tools by recommending novel information
directly within the user's familiar tools.
We have strong traction with research analysts, and are building out our user
experience team to expose more of the power of our algorithms.

Golang, python, scikit-learn, nltk, matplotlib, and other programming or data vis
tools.
We are in Cambridge/Boston, and work with people in several timezones, so
remote is OK.
