Interactive Things is offering a full-time paid internship from 9 January to 30 June 2017. You will work on interaction design and data visualization projects in Zürich, Switzerland. Please note that due to to Swiss law we're only allowed to hire people from EU/EFTA states (http://ixt.gs/eu-efta), unfortunately.
We believe that brilliant solutions come from great engagement and working outside of your comfort zone. To help you do that, we will put the best tools in your hands to make sure you’ll enjoy work as much as play. You will join and represent us at conferences and workshops and write for our publications. We stay connected with progressively thinking designers, artists, technologists, and academics worldwide. You will learn from and work with the best professionals and have a jolly good time doing so.
Work
The German word “Praktikum” says it best: an internship should be mainly about practicing your skills. At Interactive Things you will experience how to work in a cross-functional team of designers and developers to deliver digital products that solve our clients’ toughest challenges.
Learn
We want you to become a better designer and developer. To guide you in your education, we have put together a practical and theoretical curriculum of design and data visualization methods. You’ll get the chance to apply and improve the skills you learned in school on real projects.
Inspire
Our biggest expectation is that you bring an open mind and an interest to design for people. We try our best to provide a nourishing and collaborative environment that is pleasant to work in. Your individual skills and ideas will be a great source of inspiration for all of us – we’re looking forward to get to know you.
