UX/UI designer contractor or full-time hire for Venture backed Smart City startup

As we are building out Soofa into a smart city platform we are looking for a strong UX/UI designer that does state of the art data viz for sensor and open city data. Ideally we will find somebody full-time or somebody who might be able to transition from a contract bases to a full-time hire eventually.
You, the ideal candidate is an independent/experienced and can answer questions like "how should we visualize social hotspot data in dependence of events and weather patterns". Furthermore you are able to pick up and manipulate code (such as behind this map:
and make a visualization (probably in D3) that is not only amazing looking but also informative and interactive.
