What will you do at Axxess?
Participate in the ongoing development of new web applications meeting the needs of our customers.
Maintain, enhance, deliver new and complete change requests for existing Web applications.
Play a key role in building medium to large-scale public facing, high volume based Web applications.
Maintain existing intranet, extranet, Internet sites and applications.
Test: User acceptance; Web Application, Unit and Systems with reporting results.
Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces (for ease of use).
Develop database-driven Web interfaces and external Web-portals for rapid, real-time information sharing, input and retrieval.
Candidate must be a team player; willing to teach and to learn.
What Skills You Need?
Bachelors’ degree in computer science, MIS, preferred
OR related experience with 3 or more years PHP development experience.
Required: MVC Frameworks, Git Version Control, PHP, MySQL, Mongo DB and Content Management Integration; and experience with APIs.
Preferred: Full Stack (hands-on development utilizing HTML, CSS, client side JavaScript), Laravel, CodeIngniter, Accent Pipeline, Task Runners and Website performance optimization (a plus).
Customize, compile, install, configure, monitor and debug LAMP and LNMP server instances.
Write new reporting, maintenance, and test automation tools in PHP.
Troubleshoot issues with web server, database, security, network, and web technologies.
Experience with customer & end-user support of online products; web, graphic and usability design.
Must be self motivated, detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening, presentation and interpersonal).
