Intern & Volunteer Joomla/PHP Developer Needed for Nonprofit

SchoolDangers.Org is a nonprofit organization recently founded to improve the security and safety of school age children. 

We are a brand-new organization and need to build a world class website to host a lot of information and build an online community (Think JomSocial or Community Builder). 

We also need to build our newsletter, a blog, optimize and secure the site, SEO, ..... basically everything.  

A good portion of the work will be installation and configuration (leaning towards Joomla and extensions), but we will need some custom bits and interfaces to third-party API.

This has been in the works for a while now so we do have a plan.  

Technically I could build it myself (though not an expert), but there are not enough hours in the day.

This could be a volunteer or an intern (or both) that can help us move things along on a daily basis. 

We also are very interested in hosting a Code4Good event to accelerate several pieces.
