Job Description
Our client is seeking (1) Senior level PHP Web developers and (1) PHP
Lead Web Developer to work as a part of our Dallas team to enhance the
company’s e-commerce systems from Websites through call center and
order management as well as warehouse management and logistics
systems. Working with business analysts and from work orders or
defined business requirements this role will design and develop
solutions, work with QA to ensure quality solutions and then support
the solutions through implementation and production support. The
perfect candidate is positive and energetic, adept at working within a
fast-paced environment and a rapidly growing company. Qualified
candidates must be able demonstrate their ability to learn quickly,
move from task to task, multitask, and respond quickly and positively
to rapid changes.
They must also possess the following qualities:

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum experience
levels:
• 5+ years PHP web application development
• 2+ years lead developer
• 2+ years of experience developing with PHP based MVC framework such
as CakePHP, Zend, Symfony (Symfony is most preferred and currently
used)
• 5+ years developing on Linux or UNIX
• Deep understanding and solid experience in Web Application
development including PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, JSON
• Experience with AJAX development
• Skilled in Object Oriented programming with supporting work
experience
• Experienced using Design Patterns
• Skilled programmer in at least one of Python, Java, C++, Ruby
• Experienced architecting web applications; including defining
requirements, and designing architecture.
• Knowledgeable and experienced developing secure web applications
• Familiar with various rapid development methodologies such as Agile,
Scrum, Extreme, Test Drive development
The following skills are considered a plus:
• Experience in configuring/administering HTTPD web servers
• Experience managing Trac, Subversion, CruiseControl, VPNs
• Actionscript 3 programming and Flash or Flex development experience
• Experience building a website using a Content Management system
• Experience managing/tuning large operational authenticated website
and databases
• PostgreSQL relational database design and development
