Excellent PHP Development Career Opportunities: Dallas, TX

One of my clients - based in Dallas, TX - is a pure eCommerce company who possesses one of the most current technology platforms in Dallas/Fort Worth and an uber-casual, start-up like, work environment.  In addition they offer excellent compensation, industry-leading benefits and numerous career paths for those seeking to climb the ladder.

My client has just made a major acquisition and is looking for 1-2 PHP Developers to join a rapidly growing team.  More specifically, they're seeking PHP Developers with heavy expertise in back-end development (e.g. MySQL, APIs, Web Services) in order to enable integration with 3rd party payment and telecom carrier billing/SMS systems.  And if the Developers have experience performing mobile development my client will be over-the-moon.

Given the work to be performed my client is NOT seeking your stereotypical "front-end only" programmer who is a whiz with JQuery, CSS, etc.  Again, this is a role focused primarily on back-end development and 3rd party system integration.  They also need the Developer(s) to be 100% comfortable with working in a start-up-like, Agile environment which boasts 2 week sprints and a sense of dynamism which is hard to find at most companies in D/FW.

My client's preference is that the Developer(s) join on a 3-4 month Contract-to-Hire basis but for a genuine "Rock Star" they will consider making the position Full-Time right off-the-bat.  However, for this to happen the individual will need to very, very good indeed...
