App dev using IntelliJ as opposed to Eclipse?

I've just started with my first effort in app development for Cytoscape. The app developer ladder provides detailed procedures for Eclipse - I just wanted to know if anyone here is using IntelliJ Idea as their primary IDE in developing Cytoscape apps. And if yes, are there any gotchas I need to keep in mind while setting up?

(I don't have any gripes with Eclipse, I'm just more conditioned to using IntelliJ. If setting up IntelliJ becomes unmanageable, I will obviously move to Eclipse)

I have heard of people using IntelliJ for this, and it makes sense.

I don't know of any fatal gotchas, but I do hear an occasional "doh!" ... nothing that has made its way into lore or documentation, though.

Great. I am going to try a complete run through using IntelliJ and will post issues here if any.
