Hi,

I was having an issue installing cytoscape. I download the installation file and when I open it, it states that java can not be found on my computer. Not only is java installed on the computer but when I attempt to point it to the java.exe file I get an error which states I should download java.

Thank you

Ryan

Hi –

It sounds like you may have installed Java 32 bit but downloaded Java 64 bit??

The Java 32 bit is the default Oracle download … mainly for historical reasons.

To find the Java 64 bit, try here?? http://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=220315_d54c1d3a095b4ff2b6607d096fa80163
