I'm forwarding this to the Cytoscape Helpdesk, where it can get a better answer. I'm also contacting the app author.
The error is apparently being emitted by the app itself, so only the app writer could respond.
Meanwhile, it would be good for you to verify that the destination is indeed a directory, that there are no unusual access permissions, and that it's owned by the Windows ID that is also running Cytoscape. (See Windows file security documentation for this.)
Let's see what the app author advises ...

when I use the coexpnetviz app, I set my output directory "C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop" , but the output directory always wrong "output path: given file is not a directory ".
So I need to know how to set the directory.
