DisGeNET app not appearing in control panel

Hi All, 

I installed DisGeNET app for creating disease - gene association network. The App is not appearing in the control panel while starting from the App menu, however I'm getting a message that the "The Plugin is already running". 

Can some one help to trouble shoot why the DiGeNET app is not appearing in the control panel. 

Also if you could also suggest any other App that could be used for creating disease - gene association network it would be helpful.

I am getting the same thing on 3.6.0 using Disgenet 1.0. There is an error caused in the app, and you can see the result if you execute Cytoscape from the command line. For the record, the exception is shown below. I get the same result on Cytoscape 3.5.1.

Judging from the error itself, it seems like there's a problem with the Disgenet database query. I'm adding the Disgenet authors on this e-mail (as bcc).
