How do I represent a list attribute in JSon when creating a network through cyrest

Hi, 

I am trying to create a network with a node attribute that contains a list using cyrest.  My network is represented in JSon.

I have tried separating the items in the list with comma and with "|" but neither way is my list attribute recognized.  The attribute simply gets input as a character string.
