Updating Cytoscape

apparently, updating CS from 3.6.0 to 3.6.1 is requiring a new installation?
Or can i chose the old installation directory while keeping e.g. all modules from the previous versions?

Indeed 3.6.1 can use the existing CytoscapeConfiguration directory. You don’t need to install new apps. Note, too, that if you have any updated core apps in your CytoscapeConfiguration directory, 3.6.1 will automatically use its own (later versions) instead.
