Hi guys,

I would like to convert KEGG IDs (eg. K00031) to gene symbols (and/or enzymatic reaction codes) so I can basically map fold changes (extracted from an ANOVA model) of enzymatic reaction-related genes onto pathways without the hassle of figuring out which KEGG ID relates to which Gene symbols manually.

Is there an way in cytoscape to do so?

Thanks a bunch for answering!!!

Best,

Sander

Hi Sander,
From the specs the cytokegg app should help you out here: http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/cytokegg
Also the CyKeggParser provides better annotation of the nodes http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/cykeggparser
Hope this helps,
Piet
