Hello,

I have exported columns from the NODE TABLE, did some data analysis, and generated two new columns.

Now I want to add those two columns to further process on Cytoscape.

Importing works but the two new columns are empty. I have read many posts with similar problems around here but cannot solve it.

I am using 3.5.1 and I am attaching the data I want to import as well as a screenshot of my selections.

Thanks!

Hi … I don’t know the original network or exported dataset, but I do note the content and structure of your CSV file.

I think you have problems with the “shared name” column in your CSV … the shared names are double-quoted (e.g., """99""" should be “99”). So, they’re being seen as quoted (e.g., “99” instead of 99) so they can match the exact node names in your network.

Take a look at the CSV you generated from Cytoscape … I think it’ll show single-quoted node names. Those are exactly what should appear the CSV you’re trying to import.

Sensible??

Thank you so much for your reply!

The problem was not data formatting. The problem was trying to link SUID to 'shared name', SUID is an edge identifier, not for nodes.

Thanks anyway!
