I recall that older versions of Cityscape had mouse shortcuts for adding nodes and edges when constructing/editing networks manually. I cannot find these in 3.3. Do I now have to go through the right click menu each time I want to add a new node or edge?

Hi Scott,
The only mouse shortcuts I remember from older versions is the double-click to bring up the SIF parser.  Is that what you mean?  Cytoscape 2 had a drag and drop panel that you could use to drag elements onto the network, but I don't remember any other shortcuts.  In any case, currently, yes, the only way to add nodes and edges is through the context menus.  I've tried to generate interest in getting a google summer of code student to work on the drag and drop editor panel, but no taker's so far.

Yes, the double-click for the SIF parser was nice because just entering a node name gave you that node. Since a double-click doesn't currently seem to have any effect in Cityscape 3, I'm wondering if that functionality could be brought back.
